Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Jamestown Ironmen defeated the Michigan Warriors in a shootout 4-3 (3-1 SO). The two teams needed eight turns to complete the shootout. Michigan's shootout goal was scored by Connor Lyons. In addition to the clincher, Jamestown got shootout goals from Evan Ritt and Tyler Dunagan.The Ironmen overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Jamestown was down 3-1 after a goal by the Warriors' Colin Larkin at 2:08 in the third period. The Ironmen tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Ritt at 19:36 in the third period. Jamestown managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Ironmen ended up below its season average of 12.0 penalty minutes per game. By firing 37 shots on goal, Jamestown exceeded the 28.5 shots it averages per game this year. The Ironmen were helped by Huba Sekesi, who grabbed one goal.
