The Wenatchee Wild and the Bismarck Bobcats played 60 tight minutes of hockey, but in the end it was Wenatchee that came away with a 1-0 victory.

The Wild were sparked by Brian Williams, who racked up one goal. Williams scored 4:40 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Wenatchee. Kuchera provided the assist.

Wenatchee put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Bismarck to score on any of its five power plays. The Wild were held below their usual level of production.
