Tyler Marble made 44 saves to complete the shutout and led the Soo Eagles to a 3-0 win against the Michigan Warriors. Soo was sparked by Alexander Taulien, who registered one goal and one assist. Taulien scored 1:35 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Soo. Dante Suffredini picked up the assist. The Eagles excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Soo also got points from Robin Hoglund, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Michael Lant also scored for Soo.
