Tyler Marble made 44 saves to complete the shutout and led the Soo Eagles to a 3-0 win against the Michigan Warriors.

Soo was sparked by Alexander Taulien, who registered one goal and one assist. Taulien scored 1:35 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Soo. Dante Suffredini picked up the assist.

The Eagles excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Soo's defense was surprisingly good. The Eagles allow 2.4 goals per game. With 34 shots on target during the contest, Soo exceeded the 27.5 shots it averages per game this year.

Soo also got points from Robin Hoglund, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Michael Lant also scored for Soo. More assists for Soo came via Cody Von Reuden and Chris Waterstreet, who each chipped in one.

Michigan's offense was clicking better than usual and put 44 shots on goal during the game, better than the 24.5 shots per game it averages.

The Warriors were led by AJ Marcinek, who took seven shots.

The Eagles incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Michigan's Trevor Gorsuch stopped 31 shots out of the 33 that he faced. The Warriors incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
