The Coulee Region Chill climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat the Brookings Blizzard, 6-5.

Coulee Region let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. The Chill took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Cory Lushanko at 6:44 in the first period. Coulee Region found itself down 4-2 after Brookings' Nick DeCenzo put the puck home on the power play at 9:32 in the second period. After tying things up at 5-5 on a goal by Drew Brevig at 17:09 in the third, the Chill got the game-winner from Travis Underwood at 19:37 in the third period.

Coulee Region outdid its season average for goals scored. The Chill have scored at the pace of 3.0 goals per game during the current campaign. With 39 shots on target during the contest, Coulee Region exceeded the 25.5 shots it averages per game this year.

The Chill were led by Mac Jansen, who tallied three goals and two assists. Coulee Region additionally got points from Underwood, who also racked up one goal and two assists and Jesse Tredinnick, who also had one goal and one assist.
