The Port Huron Fighting Falcons' Ryan Nick scored 3:49 into overtime to beat the Jamestown Ironmen, 3-2 (OT).

Port Huron was paced by Nick, who grabbed one goal and one assist.

The Fighting Falcons' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Kody Polin also scored for Port Huron. Other players who recorded assists for Port Huron were Jonathan Kopacka, Easton Powers, and Ian Miller, who each chipped in one.

Jamestown put 40 shots on net during the contest, more than the 30.6 it averages per game.

The Ironmen were helped by Luc Gerdes, who had one goal. Gerdes scored on the power play 11:11 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Jamestown had gotten the advantage when Port Huron's Polin was sent off for holding. Victor Johansson assisted on the tally. Jamestown also got a goal from Tyler Dunagan as well. More assists for Jamestown came via Ryan Urso and Michael Mazzotta, who contributed one a piece.

The Fighting Falcons' Alex Blankenburg stopped 38 shots out of the 40 that he faced. Port Huron incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Tim Shaughnessy recorded 20 saves for the Ironmen. Jamestown incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
