Detroit Falcons 18U squeaks by California Titans 18U, 4-2

The game between Detroit Falcons 18U and California Titans 18U was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Detroit Falcons 18U emerged with a 4-2 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Jack Pierson secured the win for Detroit Falcons 18U with a goal in the second period.

Pierson had two goals to lead Detroit Falcons 18U to victory.

Detroit Falcons 18U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four California Titans 18U power plays.

Detroit Falcons 18U also got a goal from Stephen Jelsch as well. More assists for Detroit Falcons 18U came via Bradley Kent, Matt Dempsey, Sven Johnson, Eric Koslosky, and Tim Foley, who contributed one a piece.

California Titans 18U made Detroit Falcons 18U's goaltenders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, firing 32 shots and forcing 30 saves. Walker Bass made 17 stops and Nate Klebe made 13.
