Lansing Capitals 18U beats Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U 3-2 after comeback scare

Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Lansing Capitals 18U held on for a 3-2 victory.

Lansing Capitals 18U made the score 3-0 on a goal by Zac DeSimpelare at 12:47 in the first period, and Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U got as close as 3-2 when James Wade scored 8:32 into the third period.

DeSimpelare had a great game for Lansing Capitals 18U, netting two goals.

The defensemen of Lansing Capitals 18U were also effective in Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U's zone, and came away with two goals.

Conor Durgan also scored for Lansing Capitals 18U. More assists for Lansing Capitals 18U came via Mitchell Shier, who had two and Tyler Bishop, Zachary Roberts, and Trenton Kulczyk, who contributed one a piece.
