New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U survives penalties, beats Pursuit of Excellence 18U, 4-1

Pursuit of Excellence 18U failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U shook off a number of penalties to win, 4-1.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U was sparked by Andrew Vovk, who tallied one goal. Vovk scored 2:01 into the third period to make the score 2-1 New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U. Zachary Bryan provided the assist.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in nine chances. New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U averages 1.8 goal per contest. New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 20 minutes in penalties during the game.
