St. Louis Selects 16U survived a determined comeback attempt by West Michigan Hounds 16U on the way to a 2-1 win.

St. Louis Selects 16U took a 2-0 lead during the second period, only to have West Michigan Hounds 16U storm back on a Wyatt Gottschalk goal seven seconds into the third period to pull to one goal down.

St. Louis Selects 16U was led by Shane Quinn, who registered one goal. Quinn scored 46 seconds into the second period to make the score St. Louis Selects 16U. Austin Rueschhoff assisted on the tally.

St. Louis Selects 16U stifled West Michigan Hounds 16U's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
