Penalties doom Indiana Jr. Ice 16U against California Titans 16U in 5-2 loss

Indiana Jr. Ice 16U lost to California Titans 16U, as its penalty kill allowed California Titans 16U to score four goals with a man advantage.

California Titans 16U was led by Gregory Figg, who finished with one goal. Figg scored 4:08 into the second period to make the score 3-1 California Titans 16U. Brendan Harris assisted on the tally.

California Titans 16U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Indiana Jr. Ice 16U power plays. Indiana Jr. Ice 16U was unable to stop California Titans 16U from sending pucks towards the net, and California Titans 16U eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

California Titans 16U also got points from Will-Robert Johnson, who also tallied two goals and one assist and Harris, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
