St. Louis Selects 16U uses shootout to best Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 16U, 4-3

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as St. Louis Selects 16U defeated Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 16U in a shootout 4-3.

The shootout featured 10 attempts between both teams. St. Louis Selects 16U's other shootout goal was scored by Trevor Johnson.

St. Louis Selects 16U managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. St. Louis Selects 16U finished below its season average of 16.0 penalty minutes per game. Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 16U was unable to stop St. Louis Selects 16U from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Louis Selects 16U eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.
