Courtnall scored at 1:02 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Omaha AAA Lancers 16U and again while 10:02 into the third to make the score 5-0 Omaha AAA Lancers 16U.

Omaha AAA Lancers 16U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Wenatchee Wild 16U power plays. Wenatchee Wild 16U was unable to stop Omaha AAA Lancers 16U from sending pucks towards the net, and Omaha AAA Lancers 16U eventually piled up 44 shots on goal.
