Omaha AAA Lancers 16U rips Wenatchee Wild 16U, 5-0

Lawton Courtnall had two goals and one assist to lead Omaha AAA Lancers 16U to a 5-0 victory over Wenatchee Wild 16U.

Courtnall scored at 1:02 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Omaha AAA Lancers 16U and again while 10:02 into the third to make the score 5-0 Omaha AAA Lancers 16U.

Omaha AAA Lancers 16U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Wenatchee Wild 16U power plays. Wenatchee Wild 16U was unable to stop Omaha AAA Lancers 16U from sending pucks towards the net, and Omaha AAA Lancers 16U eventually piled up 44 shots on goal. Omaha AAA Lancers 16U was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 14 penalty minutes. Omaha AAA Lancers 16U got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.
