Warner's big game bests Atlanta Fire 16U in 9-0 Omaha AAA Lancers 16U win

Omaha AAA Lancers 16U's Cade Warner had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing one assist in his team's 9-0 win over Atlanta Fire 16U.

Warner got on the scoresheet 5:13 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:19 into the first, at 6:12 into the second, and at 13:42 into the third.

Omaha AAA Lancers 16U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Atlanta Fire 16U power plays. Omaha AAA Lancers 16U kept Atlanta Fire 16U's goalie busy throughout the game, and Connor Stewart made 36 saves on 45 shots.

Omaha AAA Lancers 16U additionally got points from Kyle Patava, who also tallied one goal and two assists, Ethan Price, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Ethan Montoya, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Omaha AAA Lancers 16U also got a goal from Patrick Grasso as well. In addition, Omaha AAA Lancers 16U received assists from Tarek Baker and Ethen Frank, who each chipped in one and Mac McFarland, Christian Evers, and Camden VanBrocklin, who contributed two a piece.

Omaha AAA Lancers 16U's defense shut down Atlanta Fire 16U's forwards for much of the game, and Atlanta Fire 16U got off only six shots during the contest.
