A stellar performance between the pipes by Dylan Short helped Texas Tornado 16U defeat West Michigan Hounds 16U, 4-1.

Texas Tornado 16U was paced by Benjamin Allen, who racked up one goal. Allen scored 1:19 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Texas Tornado 16U. Alexander Ochterbeck assisted on the tally.

Texas Tornado 16U excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. West Michigan Hounds 16U was unable to stop Texas Tornado 16U from sending pucks towards the net, and Texas Tornado 16U eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.
