Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots battled back to claim a 4-3 victory over the Burlington Cougars. Toronto Lakeshore let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. The Patriots took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Brody Heleno at 4:27 in the first period. Toronto Lakeshore went down 3-1 after Burlington's Brett Coulson put the puck home at 15:22 in the second period. After knotting things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by Wes Deme at 4:23 in the third, the Patriots got the game-winner from Dylan Carter at 9:06 in the third period. Toronto Lakeshore forced the Cougars goalie Cammron Radford to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots. In addition, Toronto Lakeshore received assists from Alex D Oliveira, who had two and Tyler Enns, Kelby Lorenz, Niko Kovachis, Matt McLeod, and Michael Prapavessis, who contributed one a piece.
