Brendan Woods had two goals to lead the Georgetown Raiders to a 5-1 victory over the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots. Woods found the back of the net 9:36 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Georgetown and again while on the power play 4:51 into the second to make the score 2-0 Georgetown.Georgetown forced Patriots' goaltenders to work all game long, ripping 43 shots and forcing 38 saves. Joseph Pianta made 30 stops and Jake Danson made eight. Anthony Marra also scored for Georgetown. In addition, Georgetown received assists from Alex Botten, who had two and Tyler MacPherson, Steve Hladin, Liam Clare, Nick Perruccio, Santino Centorame, and Robbie Murden, who contributed one a piece. Toronto Lakeshore's offense operated below it season average. The Patriots put an average of 3.8 pucks into the net per game. Toronto Lakeshore was led by Daniel Tedesco, who scored the team's only goal. Tedesco scored on the power play 17:33 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Georgetown. The Patriots had taken the advantage when the Raiders' Murden got sent off for slashing. Michael Prapavessis assisted on the tally. Keegan Wilson made 21 saves for Georgetown on 22 shots. The Raiders incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Toronto Lakeshore incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
