Milton outlasts Toronto, 5-3Milton Memorial Arena Fri, Feb 15, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The game between the Milton Icehawks and the Toronto Junior Canadiens was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Milton emerged with a 5-3 win. No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Josh Pace at 7:04 of the third period. Shane Bennett had a great game for the Icehawks, netting two goals. Bennett's tallies came on the power play at 13:07 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and 14:11 into the third to make the score 5-3 Milton. Milton forced Toronto goalie Nathan Colitto to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots. Milton additionally got points from Brad Kobryn, who also registered one goal and two assists and Tye Campbell, who also finished with one goal and one assist.
