Repaci leads Toronto over Georgetown, 5-2

The Toronto Junior Canadiens' Anthony Repaci had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 5-2 win over the Georgetown Raiders.

Repaci scored at 11:42 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Toronto and again while on the power play 5:27 into the second to make the score 3-0 Toronto.

Toronto could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 36 minutes in penalties during the game.

Toronto also got points from Jordan Carvalho, who also had one goal and two assists and Aaron Spivak, who also racked up two goals and one assist. In addition, Toronto received assists from Travis Hill, who had one and Derek Perl, who had two.

Georgetown kept the Junior Canadiens' goalie busy throughout the game, and Denny Dubblestyne made 38 saves on 40 shots. The Raiders could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 20 minutes in penalties during the game.

Georgetown was led by Robbie Murden, who registered one goal. Murden scored 12:39 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Toronto. Drake Hart assisted on the tally. Georgetown also got a goal from Nick Perruccio as well. Other players who recorded assists for Georgetown were David Miller, Liam Clare, and Brendan Woods, who contributed one a piece.

Toronto registered three goals on seven power play opportunities. Keegan Wilson took the loss and made 16 saves before being replaced by Gabe Grunwald who made nine saves. The Raiders registered one goal on five power play opportunities. Georgetown ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Phil Kiss was ejected from the game.
