Conner Hogg netted a hat trick to lead the Cobourg Cougars over the Pickering Panthers, 5-3.

Cobourg excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Cougars forced Pickering goalie J P Cesario to work between the pipes, taking 49 shots.

Cobourg additionally got points from Justin Danforth, who also registered one goal and two assists and Connor Armour, who also finished with one goal and one assist. In addition, Cobourg received assists from Theo Lewis, who had one.

The Panthers were led by Andrew McCann, who grabbed two goals. McCann scored the first of his two goals at 8:38 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Pickering.
