Behind a great game by Shane Bennett, who had two goals, the Milton Icehawks defeated the St. Michaels Buzzers, 2-0. Bennett's tallies came at 3:52 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Milton and 19:59 into the second to make the score 2-0 Milton.Benjamin Blacker(APMM) frustrated St. Michaels' offense all game, and stopped 42 shots en route to a shutout. Blacker(APMM) certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.66 entering the contest. Milton stifled the Buzzers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. In addition, Milton received assists from Jonathon Buttitta, who had one and Daniel Holt, who had two. St. Michaels' offense operated below it season average. The Buzzers average 4.0 goals per game. St. Michaels' offense rang up 42 shots on the Icehawks' net. Milton incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. George Argiropoulos rejected 27 shots on goal for the Buzzers. St. Michaels incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
