Kingston wins tough contest against Pickering, 3-2

The game between the Kingston Voyageurs and the Pickering Panthers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Kingston emerged with a 3-2 win.

The Voyageurs gained the winning advantage on a goal by Ludlow Harris 17:34 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Kingston was paced by Harris, who had one goal.

The Voyageurs' offense rang up 39 shots on Pickering's net.

Kingston also got a goal from Chad Duchesne as well. More assists for Kingston came via Aidan Wright, Brian Nanne, David Quesnele, and Dylan Hutton, who each chipped in one.

The Panthers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Kingston power plays.

Pickering was helped by Brodie Tutton, who racked up one goal. Tutton scored 5:39 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Pickering. Riley Devine provided the assist. Tanner Bull also scored for Pickering. In addition, Pickering received assists from Ian Chen APM, who had one.

Kingston's Colin Dzijacky stopped 25 shots out of the 27 that he faced. The Voyageurs incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Conor Barrie recorded 36 saves for the Panthers. Pickering incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
