Lindsay rips Pickering, 10-1

The Pickering Panthers had trouble finding ways to stop the Lindsay Muskies, which beat Panthers, 10-1.

Terry Snoddon was all over the ice for Lindsay, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Snoddon scored the first of his two goals at 1:46 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lindsay. Snoddon's next tally made the score 9-1 Lindsay with 10:32 left in the third period. A high sticking penalty on Brent Tuchner had put the Muskies on the power play. Patrick Hamilton provided the assist.

Lindsay made Pickering's netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, totaling 46 shots and forcing 36 saves. Conor Barrie made 28 stops and J P Cesario made eight. The Muskies outdid their season average for goals scored. Lindsay averages 3.6 goals per game. The Muskies was effective with a man advantage, and put in two goals while on the power play.

Lindsay also got points from Dylan Fitze, who also racked up one goal and two assists, Louis-David Bourgault, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Felix Chamberland, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, Dean Klomp, who also tallied one goal and two assists, and Tyler Donaldson, who also registered one goal and one assist. Lindsay also got a goal from Jacob Walters as well. More assists for Lindsay came via Corey Jackson, who had one and Vince Herlihey and William Pelletier, who each chipped in two.

The Panthers were led by Alex Clements, who scored the team's only goal. Clements scored 11:54 into the second period to make the score 4-1 Lindsay. John Woolsey picked up the assist.

Matt Robson made 19 saves for Lindsay on 20 shots. The Muskies incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Pickering incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
