Toronto Lakeshore downs Mississauga, 4-1Port Credit Arena Sun, Jan 13, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Mike Vallescuro tallied two points to lead the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots to a 4-1 victory over the Mississauga Chargers. Mississauga was unable to stop Toronto Lakeshore from sending pucks towards the net, and the Patriots eventually piled up 42 shots on goal. Toronto Lakeshore also got a goal from Niko Kovachis as well. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Lakeshore were Daniel Tedesco, who had two and Kelby Lorenz, Wes Deme, Marcus Rose, Luke Carter, and Alex D Oliveira, who each chipped in one. The Chargers could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Mississauga averages 3.4 goals per game. The Chargers were led by Trevor Warnaar, who scored the team's only goal. Warnaar scored 8:35 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Toronto Lakeshore. Lucas Venuto picked up the assist. Toronto Lakeshore's Jake Danson stopped 21 shots out of the 22 that he faced. The Patriots avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays. Austin Washkurak recorded 38 saves for Mississauga. The Chargers ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
