Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Toronto Junior Canadiens defeated the Oakville Blades in a shootout 3-2 (2-1 SO).

The Junior Canadiens overcame a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. Toronto was down 2-1 after a power play goal by the Blades' Patrick Chore at 36 seconds in the third period. The Junior Canadiens tied things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Travis Hill at 5:06 in the third period.

Toronto also got a goal from Mark Spadafora as well. In addition, Toronto received assists from Adam Logozzo, Thompson, Luca Doctor, and Anthony Repaci, who contributed one a piece.

Oakville's offense operated below it season average. The Blades put an average of 4.2 pucks into the net per game.

Oakville also got points from Nathan Renouf, who also had one goal and one assist. More assists for Oakville came via Renouf, who had two.
