Toronto Lakeshore squeaks by Orangeville, 5-4

The game between the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots and the Orangeville Flyers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Toronto Lakeshore emerged with a 5-4 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Daniel Tedesco secured the win for the Patriots with a goal in the third period.

Tedesco was all over the ice for Toronto Lakeshore, as he had two goals in the win.

Orangeville was unable to stop the Patriots from sending pucks towards the net, and Toronto Lakeshore eventually piled up 43 shots on goal.

Toronto Lakeshore additionally got points from Luke Carter, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Kyle Dutra, who also registered one goal and one assist, and William Seligman, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Lakeshore were Niko Kovachis, who had two and Angelpooulos Peter, Doug Bonar, Mike Vallescuro, and Michael Apreda, who each chipped in one.

The Flyers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Orangeville was helped by Keegan Ackerland, who finished with one goal. Ackerland scored 2:54 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Orangeville. Orangeville also got points from John Doyle, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Orangeville also got a goal from Kyle Wood as well. More assists for Orangeville came via Kelby Lorenz, Jake APJ Derkach, Blake Forslund, James Pitsadiotis, and Jordan Carvalho, who contributed one a piece.

Jake Danson made 22 saves for the Patriots on 26 shots. Toronto Lakeshore incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Bo Bessette recorded 38 saves for the Flyers. Orangeville incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
