The Lindsay Muskies gutted out a close 5-3 win against the Whitby Fury.

Lindsay gained the winning advantage on a goal by Corey Jackson 8:15 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

The Muskies were paced by Jackson, who grabbed one goal.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Lindsay additionally got points from Bryan Hignett, who also had one goal and one assist and Dean Klomp, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Lindsay also got a goal from Patrick Thornton as well. More assists for Lindsay came via Cole Murduff, who had two and Jacob Walters, Bryce Sweeting, and Terry Snoddon, who contributed one a piece.
