Behind a great game by Ludlow Harris, who had two goals and one assist, the Kingston Voyageurs defeated the Aurora Tigers, 5-2. Harris' tallies came at 15:38 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Kingston and on the power play 53 seconds into the third to make the score 4-2 Kingston.Kingston outdid its season average for goals scored. The Voyageurs have scored at the pace of 2.7 goals per game during the current campaign. Kingston also got points from Graham Yeo, who also had one goal and two assists. Brandon O Quinn also scored for Kingston. More assists for Kingston came via Kris Grant, who had three and Joey Seney and David Quesnele, who contributed one a piece. Aurora kept Kingston's goalie busy throughout the game, and Colin Dzijacky made 34 saves on 36 shots. The Tigers were led by Daniel Clairmont, who tallied two goals. Clairmont scored the first of his two goals at 21 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Aurora. Adam Moody assisted on the tally. Clairmont's next tally made the score 3-2 Kingston with 1:35 left in the second period. Aurora had gotten the advantage when the Voyageurs' Harris was sent off for slashing. Dylan Sikura picked up the assist. In addition, Aurora received assists from Tanner Shaw, who had one. Kingston incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Tigers' Kevin Entmaa stopped 19 shots out of the 23 that he faced. Aurora incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
