The St. Michaels Buzzers were firing on all cylinders against the Milton Icehawks, and when the final buzzer sounded Buzzers emerged with a 6-1 win. Milton was stymied by St. Michaels netminder George Argiropoulos, who stopped 26 shots during the victory. Argiropoulos certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.07 entering the contest. The Buzzers were led by Nicholas Lepone, who racked up one goal and one assist. Milton was often in penalty trouble, totaling 11 minors and two majors for 32 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 21.0 minutes per game the Icehawks had been spending in the box.
