The Hamilton Red Wings had trouble finding ways to stop the North York Rangers, which beat Red Wings, 9-2.

Hamilton was led by Nick Scamurra, who finished with one goal and one assist. Scamurra scored on the power play 6:56 into the second period to make the score 4-1 North York. Adam Brady provided the assist. Hamilton also got a goal from Dylan Hutton as well. In addition, Hamilton received assists from Troy Crema and Braxton Andrews, who each chipped in one.
