Aurora boosted by Entmaa's play in net, beats Stouffville 3-1Aurora Community Centre Fri, Nov 09, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
A stellar performance between the pipes by Kevin Entmaa helped the Aurora Tigers defeat the Stouffville Spirit, 3-1. Aurora was led by Robert Angiolella, who had one goal. Angiolella scored 28 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-1 Aurora. Matt Andreacchi picked up the assist. The Tigers forced Stouffville goalie Knick Dawe to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. Jordan Brown also scored for Aurora. Other players who recorded assists for Aurora were Mike Sones, Daniel Lisi, and Adam DiBrina, who each chipped in one. The Spirit's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Aurora power plays. Stouffville did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Spirit put an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game. Stouffville's offense rang up 38 shots on Aurora's net. The Spirit were led by Jacob Bauchman, who scored the team's only goal. Bauchman scored 15:55 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Stouffville. Joseph Deveny provided the assist. Entmaa rejected 37 shots on goal for the Tigers. Aurora incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Knick Dawe made 31 saves for Stouffville on 34 shots. The Spirit incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
