Kingston wins tough contest against Lindsay, 4-3

The game between the Kingston Voyageurs and the Lindsay Muskies was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Kingston emerged with a 4-3 win.

No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by David Quesnele at 12:52 of the third period.

In the losing effort, Lindsay was led by Felix Chamberland, who finished with two goals. Chamberland scored the first of his two goals at 14:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lindsay. Vince Herlihey provided the assist. Chamberland's next tally made the score 3-3 with 8:35 left in the third period. Herlihey picked up the assist.

In a losing effort, the Muskies were led by Chamberland, who tallied two goals.

The Voyageurs stifled Lindsay's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Kingston's offense rang up 41 shots on the Muskies' net.

Kingston also got a goal from Michael Schug as well. Other players who recorded assists for Kingston were Chad Duchesne, Josh Hicks, Kris Grant, Graham Yeo, Brandon O Quinn, Scott Mossman, and Alex Tonge, who contributed one a piece.

The Voyageurs were unable to stop Lindsay from sending pucks towards the net, and the Muskies eventually piled up 42 shots on goal.

Corey Jackson also scored for Lindsay. More assists for Lindsay came via Cole Murduff, Patrick Hamilton, and Dean Klomp, who each chipped in one.

Kingston's Brandon O'Neil stopped 39 shots out of the 42 that he faced. The Voyageurs incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Greg Zupan recorded 37 saves for Lindsay. The Muskies incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
