The Stouffville Spirit, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Stouffville and clinched a 4-3 victory. The Spirit led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Stouffville's Dylan Savory's scored at 34 seconds in the second period to put the Spirit up 3-0. Stouffville was led by Alex Botten, who had one goal and one assist. Botten scored on the power play 31 seconds into the third period to make the score 4-3 Stouffville. Robert Powers picked up the assist. Stouffville additionally got points from Powers, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Stouffville also got a goal from Michael Morgan as well. Other players who recorded assists for Stouffville were Jacob Bauchman, who had two and Peyton Backus and Joseph Deveny, who contributed one a piece. The Newmarket Hurricanes' offense rang up 34 shots on the Spirit's net. Newmarket was helped by Justin Maiolino, who registered one goal.
