Oakville rolls over Toronto Lakeshore, 4-0Sixteen Mile Sports Complex Fri, Oct 26, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
The Oakville Blades were firing on all cylinders against the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots, and when the final buzzer sounded Blades emerged with a 4-0 win. Oakville's penalty kill excelled, as the Blades gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. Oakville was led by Jonah Renouf, who registered one goal and one assist. Renouf scored 11:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Oakville. Stefan Leblanc provided the assist. The Blades stifled Toronto Lakeshore's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Oakville featured an improved defense during the game. The Blades gives up 2.8 goals on average per game. Oakville also got a goal from Kris Bennet as well. Other players who recorded assists for Oakville were Nathan Renouf, Matt Alvaro, Zach Berg, and Kyle Jenkins, who contributed one a piece.
