Oakville's penalty kill excelled, as the Blades gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Oakville was led by Jonah Renouf, who registered one goal and one assist. Renouf scored 11:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Oakville. Stefan Leblanc provided the assist.

The Blades stifled Toronto Lakeshore's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Oakville featured an improved defense during the game. The Blades gives up 2.8 goals on average per game.
