The Toronto Lakeshore Patriots tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the North York Rangers held on for a 2-1 victory. North York took a 2-0 lead during the third period, only to have Toronto Lakeshore storm back on a Nathan Feric goal 19:51 into the third period to pull to one goal down. John Carpino had two goals to lead the Rangers to victory. North York was led by goalie Keogh Jacob, who finished with 31 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Jacob will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 3.93. The Rangers did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. North York averages 4.3 goals per game. More assists for North York came via Valadao Adam and Corey Kalk, who contributed two a piece. The Patriots stifled the Rangers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Toronto Lakeshore's offense operated below it season average. The Patriots put an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game. Toronto Lakeshore's offense rang up 32 shots on North York's net. In addition, Toronto Lakeshore received assists from Daniel Tedesco and Alex D Oliveira, who each chipped in one. The Rangers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Patriots' Stormer Santana stopped 23 shots out of the 25 that he faced. Toronto Lakeshore incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. For the Patriots, Angelpooulos Peter was ejected from the game.
