Georgetown squeaks by Toronto Lakeshore, 4-3

The game between the Georgetown Raiders and the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Georgetown emerged with a 4-3 win.

The Raiders gained the winning advantage on a goal by Drake Hart 14:57 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Toronto Lakeshore's power play was ineffective against Georgetown's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

In a losing effort, the Patriots were paced by Wes Deme, who had two goals. Deme scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 7:42 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Toronto Lakeshore. A slashing penalty on Riley Dunda had put Toronto Lakeshore on the power play. Alex D Oliveira provided the assist. Deme's next tally on the power play made the score 3-2 Toronto Lakeshore with 11:53 left in the third period. D Oliveira assisted on the tally.

Georgetown additionally got points from Jake Emilio, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Georgetown also got a goal from Brendan Woods as well. More assists for Georgetown came via Tyler MacPherson, who had two and Thomas Welsh, Nick Perruccio, Nicholas Dozzi, CJ Stellato, and Robbie Murden, who each chipped in one.

Kyle Dutra also scored for Toronto Lakeshore. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Lakeshore were Tyler Currie, Nathan Feric, and Doug Bonar, who contributed one a piece.

Daniel Mannella rejected 26 shots on goal for the Raiders. Georgetown incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Joseph Pianta recorded 22 saves for the Patriots. Toronto Lakeshore incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
