Behind two goals and one assist from Liam Kerins and one goal and two assists from Corey Kalk, the North York Rangers downed the St. Michaels Buzzers 7-3. Kerins scored the first of his two goals at 18:58 into the first period to make the score 2-0 North York. Galli Austin provided the assist. Kerins' next tally made the score 3-1 North York with 11:09 left in the second period. North York had gotten the advantage when St. Michaels' David Italiano was sent off for roughing. Patrick Piacentini picked up the assist. Kalk scored 1:15 into the third period to make the score 5-3 North York. Piacentini provided the assist.The Buzzers' power play was ineffective against the Rangers' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.
