Spencer Green gave the Oakville Blades a 5-4 (OT) victory over the Milton Icehawks when he scored 3:17 into the extra period.

Oakville overcame a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Blades fell behind 4-1 after a goal by Milton's Shane Bennett at 46 seconds in the third period. Oakville tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Kris Bennet at 17:04 in the third period.

With four goals and one assist between them, Matt Alvaro and Bennet teamed up to power the Blades' offense. Alvaro had two goals and Bennet also added two goals and one assist.

Oakville's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Milton power plays. The Icehawks were unable to stop the Blades from sending pucks towards the net, and Oakville eventually piled up 45 shots on goal.
