The Georgetown Raiders used a sparkling performance by Daniel Mannella to take down the North York Rangers, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Georgetown's 3-0 shutout victory. The Raiders were led by CJ Stellato, who finished with one goal. Stellato scored 44 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 Georgetown. Brendan Woods picked up the assist. Georgetown also got a goal from Nick Perruccio as well. In addition, Georgetown received assists from Anthony Marra, Brendan Jacome, Nicholas Dozzi, and Robbie Murden, who contributed one a piece. North York did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Rangers put an average of 3.8 pucks into the net per game. North York forced Georgetown goalie Mannella to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots. The Rangers could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game. Mannella rejected 38 shots on goal for the Raiders. Georgetown incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Allen Avery recorded 24 saves for North York. The Rangers registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
