Milton downs Toronto Lakeshore, 6-3

Josh Pace tallied one point to lead the Milton Icehawks to a 6-3 victory over the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots.

Milton additionally got points from Bryce Abraham, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Brad Kobryn, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Shane Bennett, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Milton also got a goal from Ryan Burns as well. Other players who recorded assists for Milton were Jonathon Buttitta, Spencer Gourlay, and Charles Williams, who each chipped in one and Austin Kosack and Kane Elliot, who contributed two a piece.

Milton was unable to stop Toronto Lakeshore from sending pucks towards the net, and the Patriots eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Toronto Lakeshore was led by Alex D Oliveira, who registered one goal and one assist. D Oliveira scored 2:50 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Toronto Lakeshore. Kyle Dutra assisted on the tally. Wes Deme also scored for Toronto Lakeshore. More assists for Toronto Lakeshore came via Niko Kovachis, Nathan Feric, and Brandon Willett, who each chipped in one.

The Icehawks' Justin Urquhart stopped 33 shots out of the 36 that he faced. Milton incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Stormer Santana made 14 saves for the Patriots on 19 shots. Toronto Lakeshore incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
