The Oakville Blades' Jonah Renouf had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing four assists in his team's 11-4 win over the Hamilton Red Wings.

Renouf beat Jason Pucciarelli with a shot 13:44 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Nathan Renouf picked up the assist. Renouf dished an assist on Patrick Chore's goal that made the score 2-1 Oakville at 16:50 into the first period. He then added assists on Greg Campbell's goal at 9:16 into the second, on Chore's goal at 15:47 into the second, and on Renouf's goal at 2:53 into the third.

Hamilton fell victim to a deadly Oakville power play, which ripped the Red Wings for eight goals.

The Red Wings forced the Blades goalie Evan Buitenhuis to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. Hamilton found itself short handed often, totaling 40 penalty minutes and allowing 14 power plays.
