Nolan Martin grabbed two points to lead the Trenton Golden Hawks to a 5-1 victory over the Stouffville Spirit.

Trenton kept Stouffville's goalie busy throughout the game, and Braydon Banitsiotis made 29 saves on 34 shots.

Trenton also got points from Conor Carson, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Ryan Johnson, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Trenton also got a goal from Josh Timpano as well. More assists for Trenton came via Erlich Doerksen, who had two and Alex Leader, Jordan Minello, Andrew Parks, Jeff Bauer, and Sammy Banga, who each chipped in one.

The Spirit were led by Michael Morgan, who scored the team's only goal. Morgan scored on the power play 6:23 into the second period to make the score 1-1. A cross checking penalty on Brandon Scott had put Stouffville on the power play. Robert Powers provided the assist.

Andrew Winsor made 24 saves for the Golden Hawks on 25 shots. Trenton incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Spirit incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
