Doug Bonar netted a hat trick to lead the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots over the Mississauga Chargers, 4-2. Bonar's first goal came 9:57 into the second period. He then added goals at 6:58 into the third and at 7:36 into the third.Toronto Lakeshore kept Mississauga's goalie busy throughout the game, and Austin Washkurak made 36 saves on 40 shots. Brody Heleno also scored for Toronto Lakeshore. More assists for Toronto Lakeshore came via Luke Carter and Brandon Willett, who each chipped in one and Niko Kovachis, Kyle Dutra, and Alex D Oliveira, who contributed two a piece. The Chargers were helped by Zackery Landsfield, who racked up one goal. Landsfield scored 12:51 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Vince Figliomeni picked up the assist. Mississauga also got a goal from A Latina as well. Other players who recorded assists for Mississauga were B Beasley, who had one and A Valente, who had two. Joseph Pianta rejected 24 shots on goal for the Patriots. Toronto Lakeshore incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Mississauga incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Chargers ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Figliomeni was ejected from the game.
