Behind a great game by Matt Davis, who had two goals and one assist, the Whitby Fury defeated the Trenton Golden Hawks, 4-1.

Whitby also got points from Henry Thompson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Whitby also got a goal from Jack Lewis as well. Other players who recorded assists for Whitby were Tyler Park and Connor Laird, who each chipped in one and Chris Raguseo and Ryan Logan, who contributed two a piece.

Trenton's offense operated below it season average. The Golden Hawks put an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game.

Trenton was led by Brady Wiffen, who scored the team's only goal. Wiffen scored on the power play 5:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Trenton. The Golden Hawks had gotten the advantage when Whitby's Lewis was sent off for high sticking. Jordan Minello picked up the assist.

Tyler Feaver rejected 23 shots on goal for the Fury. Whitby incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Andrew Winsor recorded 21 saves for Trenton. The Golden Hawks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
