The Oakville Blades and the North York Rangers were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Oakville made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-3. No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Kyle Jenkins at 12:02 of the third period. Jonah Renouf was all over the ice for the Blades, as he tallied one goal and three assists in the win. Renouf scored 3:21 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Oakville. Zach Berg picked up the assist. Oakville forced North York goalie Keogh Jacob to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. Oakville additionally got points from Jenkins, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Nathan Renouf also scored for Oakville.
