The Toronto Junior Canadiens had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-3 win over the Orangeville Flyers.

Toronto forced Flyers' netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, totaling 36 shots and forcing 29 saves. Matthew Williams made 12 stops and Taylor Welsh made 17. The Junior Canadiens outdid their season average for goals scored. This season, Toronto averages 2.5 goals per contest.

The Junior Canadiens were helped by Robert Cammalleri, who tallied two goals and one assist. Cammalleri scored the first of his two goals at 4:52 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Toronto. Danny Liscio provided the assist. Cammalleri's next tally made the score 4-0 Toronto with 8:16 left in the first period. Gregory Di Tomaso assisted on the tally. Toronto also got points from Liscio, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Di Tomaso, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Toronto also had goals scored by Mark Spadafora, who had one and Connor Prudames, who had two. More assists for Toronto came via Jimin Kim, who had three and Derek Perl, Adam Logozzo, Steven Comegna, Tyler Kowba, Luca Doctor, Nicholas Jarzabek, and Joseph Santino, who each chipped in one.

Orangeville kept Toronto's goalie busy throughout the game, and Nathan Colitto made 28 saves on 31 shots.

The Flyers were led by Derek Van Ness, who finished with one goal and one assist. Van Ness scored on the power play 2:09 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Toronto. Orangeville had taken the advantage when the Junior Canadiens' Di Tomaso got sent off for tripping. Kelby Lorenz provided the assist. Orangeville also got a goal from Michael Capicotto as well. In addition, Orangeville received assists from Geoffrey Bagnall, who had one.

Toronto incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Flyers incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
