Aurora Community Centre    Sat, Sep 15, 2012

The Aurora Tigers came close to giving away a three-goal lead to the Lindsay Muskies, but did just enough to escape with a 4-2 victory.

Aurora led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Tigers' Mike Sones' scored at 16:29 in the second period to put Aurora up 4-1.

The Tigers got the win behind a great game by Robert Angiolella, who had two goals and one assist. Aurora earned a power play opportunity when Josh Miller was put in the box for head contact. Kory Kennedy assisted on the tally. Angiolella's next tally on the power play made the score 3-1 Aurora with 16:04 left in the second period. A tripping penalty on Brian Hubers had put the Tigers on the power play. Mihkel Poldma provided the assist.

Aurora also got a goal from Daniel Clairmont as well. In addition, Aurora received assists from Tyler Shaw, Tanner Shaw, Taylor McCloy, and Dylan Wallace, who each chipped in one.

Aurora was unable to stop Lindsay from sending pucks towards the net, and the Muskies eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.
