The Toronto Lakeshore Patriots came close to giving away a three-goal lead to the Georgetown Raiders, but did just enough to escape with a 4-3 victory. Toronto Lakeshore led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Patriots' Doug Bonar's scored on the power play at 13:26 in the first period to put Toronto Lakeshore up 3-0. Nathan Feric had two goals to lead the Patriots to victory. Feric's tallies came on the power play at 9:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Toronto Lakeshore and 11:36 into the first to make the score 2-0 Toronto Lakeshore. Georgetown's power play was ineffective against Toronto Lakeshore's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.
