David Italiano netted a hat trick to lead the St. Michaels Buzzers over the Milton Icehawks, 8-3. Italiano's first goal came 15:03 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:28 into the second and at 11:39 into the third.St. Michaels' penalty kill excelled, as the Buzzers gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays. St. Michaels' offense rang up 55 shots on Milton's net. The Buzzers bested their season scoring average. St. Michaels averages 4.8 goals per game. The Buzzers cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring three goals on four chances. St. Michaels additionally got points from Bron Loiselle, who also racked up one goal and one assist. St. Michaels also had goals scored by CJ Shugart, who had two and Troy Josephs and Nicholas Lepone, who each put in one. More assists for St. Michaels came via Matt Buckles, who had four, Mike Lansdowne, Jordan Schneider, Stephen Pietrobon, and Patrick McCarron, who each chipped in one, and Jake Clements and Jake Evans, who contributed two a piece. The Icehawks kept St. Michaels' goalie busy throughout the game, and George Argiropoulos made 29 saves on 32 shots. Milton was led by Joshua Decosta, who had two goals and one assist. Decosta's next tally made the score 2-1 Milton with 4:19 left in the first period. The Icehawks had taken the advantage when the Buzzers' Joseph Berton got sent off for tripping.
