Mississippi Surge falls to Mississippi RiverKings in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Mississippi RiverKings pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over Mississippi Surge on a clutch goal by Matt Gordon.

Mississippi RiverKings came back from a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. Mississippi RiverKings trailed 3-2 after a goal by Mississippi Surge's Gordon at 8:53 in the third period. Mississippi RiverKings knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Matt Whitehead at 4:51 in the fourth period.

Mississippi RiverKings was led by Whitehead, who tallied one goal.

The 30 shots that Mississippi RiverKings put on net surpassed Mississippi RiverKings' average of 18.9 shots per game this season.

Mississippi RiverKings also got points from Matt Harrington, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Mississippi RiverKings also got a goal from Darrell Stoddard as well.
