The Fayetteville FireAntz almost clawed their way back from a three-goal deficit, but the Pensacola Ice Flyers managed to pull out a 6-5 win in the end. Pensacola led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Ice Flyers' Kevin Kozlowski's scored at 11:12 in the second period to put Pensacola up 4-1.
